Injection moulded hydrant valve sign plate to B.S.3251.
Plate and Locate first introduced this top quality injection moulded
plastic valve sign plate to the U.K. water and gas industry over 25 years
ago. It is made from a material called Luran-S that sign not colour fade,
shrink, swell, crack or corrode. All characters and numbers are
moulded and then encapsulated to ensure that all information can not
rub or ware away. The Clip-in numbers and letters can not be removed
from the front of the plate by vandals or unauthorised personnel. This
sign plate system is the most durable and by design the most variable
information sign plate available.
Clip-in number system.
Plate and Locate’s clip-in number system enables variable information
to be inserted on to a sign plate whilst on site. The characters and
numbers are moulded and then encapsulated to ensure that all
information can not rub or ware away. The Clip-in numbers and letters
can not be removed from the front of the plate by vandals or
unauthorised personnel.
Reversed screen printed valve sign plate.
Our reversed screen printed valve sign plates offer an ecomomical
soloution to valve identification. All information is screen printed on to
the reverse of clear polycarbonate so the critical information can not
scratch or ware away. The printing ink used is U.V. and weather
resistant offering a durable, long life valve sign plate. Varialble
information, numbers and letters are attached on the reverse of the plate
behind clear windows so can not scratch or ware away. Numbers and
letters are supplied on sheets with 80 per sheet.
Aluminium posting system.
Plate and Locate’s aluminium post system offers a durable, light weight
and easy to install alternative to the traditional concrete post. Our
extruded aluminium posts are supplied in batches of 10, supplied with
plastic end caps, anchor bar and aluminium back plate for sign plate
fixing. They are easy to carry, simple to install and durable to all weather
conditions, a long life sign post.
Aluminium backing plate banded to other street furniture.
We supply Aluminium backing plates custom made to fit out hydrant and
valve sign plates. The plate has been designed to support a variety of
fixing methods including steel banding to street furniture. The banding
kit is supplied with a banding tool and stainless steel fixing buckles and
lightweight stainless steel banding. 13mm x 50m.
Aluminium and plastic brackets.
For the fixing of valve sign plates to lampposts or other street furniture,
Plate and Locate have developed two fixing brackets. An aluminium
back plate that can be used with B.S. and Din standard size valve sign
plates. Designed to be used with stainless steel banding and offering a
secure and durable solution. A plastic bracket, designed to be used with
our reversed screen printed sign plates and plastic cable ties. This
system again offers a secure and cost effective solution to attaching
signs plates to lampposts.
Thermoplastic Hydrant valve lid marker.
The Thermoplastic hydrant valve lid marker is an easy 1,2,3 application:
1.The hydrant cover is cleaned
2. the application of the bitchumen tack coat applied by heat.
3. the yellow thermoplastic is applied, using heat, to the top side of the
tack coat.
Both layers are supplied in sheet form and can be cut to a specific size
for a quick and easy application. The thermoplastic is very long lasting
and offers clear, durable identification of the hydrant lid.
Fire hydrant valve marking by paint and thermoplastic.
For long lasting and durable hydrant identification. Yellow thermoplastic
pre-cut H markers. Designed to be easily adhered to any road surface
within a couple of meters of the hydrant valve or marker plate. This will
enable the easy location of the hydrant valve when travelling in a
vehicle along a busy road. This product can be used in conjunction with
a standard thermoplastic strip and directional arrow to give greater
impact.
Outdoor Marker paint. (For the identification of hydrant valves).
Long lasting and U.V. stabilised outdoor marker paint, for the painting of
valve lids and valve signposts. Available in 600ml or 750ml aerosol
cans and also available in 5 litre cans for brush application.
